Dental Care

Your golden years should be some of the best of your life. You have free time to spend with family and friends. You have time to travel. You can pursue new hobbies that you couldn’t while you were working and raising your family.

Staying as healthy as possible will make it easier for you to keep doing those things that you enjoy, and that should include your oral health.

At Uptown Dental Associates, we want to do our part to make dental care as easy as we can for our patients. We work hard to find ways to make dental care affordable.

Today, we want to explore some of the options that could make dental care easier on your budget. If you have questions, you are always welcome to call (505) 219-4548, to contact us online, or to schedule a visit to our office at 7101 Prospect Place NE in Albuquerque, NM.

Insurance Options

We accept two great plans that have helped many of our patients 65 and older.

The Sandia plan can cost less per month than a couple of drinks at some local coffee shops. By signing up for a Sandia plan, you can save on everything from routine cleanings, exams, and X-rays to dental fillings and dentures.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare plan also has worked well for several patients.

The benefits will vary depending on the specific plan you choose. But again, signing up for dental coverage can reduce your out-of-pocket costs for preventive care, restorative services, and unexpected treatments.

We also work with several other dental insurance providers including Cigna, Connection Delta, Delta Dental, MetLife, and United Concordia.

Other Financing Options

Some patients prefer to handle their dental care without the hassles that can come with insurance. That’s all right, too.

We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. If you are a fee-for-service patient, then you will be happy to know that we have not changed our fees since 2013. We also offer a 10 percent discount on services for patients who pay with cash or check.

We know that some services are more expensive than others, so paying all at once may not always fit your budget. CareCredit gives you another way to get needed treatments while managing the costs. Whether you are interested in dental veneers or dental implants, CareCredit could help you break up the cost of care into convenient monthly payments.

Dental Care Shouldn’t Be Stressful

At Uptown Dental Associates, our focus is always on what we can do to help our patients.

We encourage every patient to practice good oral care at home and to schedule regular dental cleanings and exams at our office. Preventive care is the best thing you can do for your oral health and for your checking account.

Taking steps to prevent problems that can arise from untreated cavities and gum disease is important. It can save your smile. It also can save you the time and expense of root canal treatment or teeth replacement costs.

If you are already missing some or all of your natural teeth, regular dental check-ups are still important. The right teeth replacements can prevent further tooth loss or help you keep your dentures for as long as possible.

We Want To Be Your Dentist Office

Our doctors and dental professionals have decades of combined experience helping our patients in and around Albuquerque. We offer a wide range of general, cosmetic, and restorative services in one location. That means you won’t have to drive all over New Mexico to get the care that you need and deserve.

Your comfort is one of our top priorities as well. We have invested in technology that makes your visits easier as well. With digital X-rays, we see clearer images of your teeth, and you are exposed to less radiation. With our LumiSmile digital imaging, we can give you a better idea of what your smile will look like when a treatment is complete.

Your physical comfort is equally important to us. We will be happy to provide you with a blanket and pillow to feel cozy. If you feel anxious about dental care, ask about our sedation options, too.

And if you are concerned about the costs of dental care, we want to reiterate that we offer a variety of payment options. We will work with you to get the care you need within your budget.

To learn more about us or to make an appointment, we welcome you to contact us online or to call (505) 219-4548.
