So you won’t feel rushed, we can even provide extended appointments!

Dental Sedation Options To Calm You

If our welcoming team and various comfort options aren’t enough to put you at ease, we also offer dental sedation. Every patient is unique, so we give you three choices.

Nitrous oxide, more commonly known as “laughing gas,” is a gas mixed with oxygen that you inhale through a small mask. The calming sensation takes effect almost immediately, melting away your stress and causing a mild euphoria.

We also offer oral conscious sedation in pill form. We will give you a prescription during an initial consultation. Then, about an hour before your visit, you will take your medicine. You’ll arrive fully relaxed, and your procedures will be little more than a foggy haze when you leave.

IV sedation is the strongest form of dental sedation we offer. We will carefully monitor you and adjust your level of sedation as needed. Many of our patients who use IV sedation don’t even remember visiting. Your visit will be stress-free, and you’ll leave with a beautiful smile!

If you need additional medication to relax, we will adjust accordingly. For your safety, you will need a trusted friend or family member to drive you to and from your appointment following oral conscious sedation or IV sedation.
