Dr. Martinez grew up in New Mexico and gained a love for the mountains from his parents- fishing, hiking and camping throughout our beautiful state. He is an avid soccer fan and player – winning 3 state championships at the Albuquerque Academy before graduating in 2002. He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at the University of Colorado, where his love for the great outdoors only intensified.
Dr. Martinez has been married for over 10 years to his incredible wife, Melanie. Together in the village of Tijeras, they are raising three wild mountain kids: Megan, Michael, and Morgan.
Dr. Martinez enjoys the wide array of challenges dentistry can present and always places a strong emphasis on comprehensive care for his patients. His favorite aspect of practice is adhesive dentistry with ceramics – Crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays. Whether it’s restoring a single tooth, a smile makeover or a full rehabilitation, Dr. Martinez is a nerd when it comes to material selection and proper technique for the most esthetic and longest lasting restorations in modern dentistry. He is trained in Dental Implantology and certified in hard and soft tissue laser procedures as well.
